How is it possible? The concept of Industry 4.0 was introduced only 3-4 years ago and already you can count thousands of experts. Where did they get their skills, if the number of real Industry 4.0 examples is still so low? Where do they come from?
My opinion is that we are in a 'far west' period, in which anybody can clain to have a 'magic solution': hardware and software vendors, research centres, universities, politicians, etc. And a mass of opportunist 'consultants' offering something that can be hardly related to Industry 4.0: from their Industry 4.0 'business models' to new business attitudes, to new management approaches, etc. Be careful before spending (a lot of) money in a new project. Carefully check who is the 'consultant' in front of you and where he derived his 'skills'.
